Cheetah image taken at Tangala

Male Giraffe can reach a hight of up to 5,3 meters but can feed much higher up to 5,6 meters above ground level

Although predominantly nocturnal hippos are often seen outside water during daytime

There are numerous black back jackals at Tangala, this is a immature animal

Zebra form a mane part of the lions diet in our area

Five subspecies of giraffe are found in Africa the difference being the pattern or markings on the individuals; here we clearly see the cape giraffe’s pattern on the neck

Hippo are easily found during game drives because of their natural habitat
